Materials

Bag Panels (Make 2)

  5. Rows 4–10: SC in each stitch, making 7 evenly spaced increases per row. Do not place increases directly over those in the previous row. SL ST at the end of Row 10, turn.
  6. Row 11: SC in the first stitch, B ST in the next stitch. Repeat from * to the end of the row. Join with a SL ST, turn.
  7. Row 12: SC in each stitch, making 14 evenly spaced increases. Join with a SL ST, turn.
  8. Rows 13–28: Alternate Row 11 and Row 12. Ensure the B ST in each row aligns with the SC in the previous row of bead stitches. Fasten off.

Gusset

  1. Foundation Chain: Ch 16.
  2. Row 1: SC in the second chain from the hook and in each chain across. Ch 1, turn.
  3. Rows 2 and Onward: SC in each stitch across. Ch 1, turn. Continue until the gusset measures 18 inches in length. Work all rows over the wire for added structure. Do not fasten off.

Assembly

  1. Join Panels: Using SC, join the two bag panels to the gusset on the wrong side.
