- 1 plastic headband
- Gold beads (Walco recommended)

Pattern
Headband:
- Chain 21 to measure approximately 2 inches wide.
- Row 1: Sc in the second chain from the hook and in each chain across. Ch 1, turn.
- Row 2: Working in the back loop only, sc in each sc across. Ch 1, turn.
- Repeat Row 2 until the piece measures 14 inches in length.
- Break off the yarn and set aside.
Bow:
- Work the same as the Headband instructions, but continue until the piece measures 18 inches in length.
- Break off the yarn.
Center Section:
- Chain 11.
- Work the same as the Headband instructions for 3½ inches.
- Break off the yarn.
Assembly Instructions
- Line the headband and bow pieces with the grosgrain ribbon, leaving the narrow ends open.
- Sew the ends of the bow piece together to form a loop. Fold the loop in the center and sew it securely to create a bow shape.
- Wrap the center section around the middle of the bow, covering the stitching. Sew it in place and embellish with rows of gold beads.
- Insert the plastic headband under the lining of the crocheted headband piece. Sew the narrow ends closed and blind stitch along each side of the plastic headband to secure it firmly in place.
