Hey lookie here! The website is working again…whadda ya know?
But, seriously, I’ve been pretty busy lately. I’ve been really trying to fumble my way through learning how to paint in real life. I’ve always been more of a digital type of gal, but I’m determined to learn more about painting and inking and all that jazz. But if you’ve been watching my videos you already know this. There are successes and mis-steps but overall I’m having a lot of fun learning.
I think the most important reason why I don’t get too disappointed when a painting doesn’t turn out, is that I keep back ups. I always have a copy of my original drawing so if the painting doesn’t turn out, I can just re-trace the drawing and try it again. It’s a life saver! It means I never get too discouraged, I just start again.
In addition to experimenting with painting, I’ve been uploading digital versions to my merch shop and to my Zazzle shop.
Have you seen all the products Zazzle offers? Its amazing! You can put your artwork on almost anything!
But, you may be asking…”Why have a merch shop and Zazzle?” Well, I’ll tell you my good friend…It’s because my merch shop is powered by Spring (formerly Tee-Spring) which is partnered with YouTube. Having a Spring merch shop is a YouTube partner perk and they have a lot of products that I can put on the “shelf” (a little banner that goes below my YouTube videos). I think it’s a lot of fun to see the artwork in the video applied to products directly below the video. And so Spring is where I put my art first.
But… Zazzle has soooo many more items. And it’s really fun to see things like playing cards or postcards with my artwork as well.
So, for now, I have two stores. Lol
Oh, and here’s my latest video, just in case you haven’t seen it:
