Rainbow Sherbert Shawl – Free Crochet Pattern

Yes, I know….it’s not sherbert it’s sorbet or sherbet….but as a kid I always called that sweet frozen treat sherbert. And the pretty pastel rainbow colors in this shawl remind me of the pretty colors you’ll find in a good dish of sherbert (or sorbet or sherbet).

I used approximately 2 and a half balls of Yarn Bee Sugarwheel cotton sparkle yarn in the color “Twirls at Twilight” for this project.

This crochet shawl pattern is a fun 6 row repeat. Sometimes I like crochet patterns that keep me interested as I work, and this pattern does that. The crochet stitches are easy and you can enjoy working on this shawl while you have your favorite tv program on in the background while you work.

For this project you will need:

3 skeins of Yarn Bee Sugarwheel cotton sparkle yarn in the color “Twirls at Twilight”. If you’d like to use another color or brand just make sure you use a size 3 yarn.

For comparison: Yarn Bee Sugarwheel cotton yarn is a size 3 yarn and each skein is 296 yards.
